Hi there! My name is Kimberly Brooks Filkins. I have been an active artist in many mediums throughout my life but find glass fusing the most inspiring, satisfying and challenging. As I grew as an individual, I gained perspective that led me to realize that I wanted to make art more a part of my life, and found the simplicity, beauty and functionality of glass as my canvas.

Each fused glass art piece that I create is unique. Through the grace and beauty of nature, individual grains of sand evolve into whimsical yet functional works of art. With the support of my friends and family, I will continue to create new designs limited only by the expanse of my imagination and the size of my kiln.
